Blackbird Outsole Decoration Nails

These finest and most valued outsole decoration nails use established shoemakers around the world.

Nails have a serrated shank and round shaped conical head and are mad from finest brass. Since we are making them in various lengths you can use them everywhere from toe to heel. You can also write monograms or other patterns. Shank is Ø 1.2 mm (gauge 16) and head diameter is 2.0 mm.  

We make them also Ø 1.0 mm (gauge 18) with a smaller head so check other cone head products too. Those outsole decoration nails are part of our premium brand Blackbird.

Compared to regular flat head nails are Blackbird’s conical head best because head stays visible and nice even when outsole slowly grinds.

Manufacturing and quality

We produce them in our workshop in Europe and meet the highest quality and dimension control standards with the usage of best brass.  They are used among bespoke shoemakers, shoe repair professionals and cobblers.

Magnets do not stick to brass because brass is not a ferrous metal so it is ideal for any environment where wet and humidity is present.
